CHAT HELP
We offer a unique graphical chat environment where you can create your own image (cyber person if you will) and have your own flat and meet up with your friends in Cyberspace. It is like going out without the hassle! In computer terminology we refer to your cyber person as an "Avatar". The word "Avatar" comes from Hinduism, the manifestation of a God in human or superhuman form - somehow the term has now crept into computer speak!
Yes, you can. Just click on "Chat as Male" or "Chat as female".
The answer to this is NO - in no circumstances should you give your details to someone you don't know! The problem is that on the Internet and in Towerchat people can pretend to be someone they are not and this can in certain cases be very very dangerous. So do not give your details to anybody unless your are absolutely certain that they are who they say they are. If you eventually do give someone your details, make sure you let other people know what you have done and to whom you have given your details. If you have agreed to meet up with someone in the real world outside cyber space, make sure that you never go alone and that you meet in a public place. Please read more about chat safety on www.chatdanger.com and www.thinkuknow.com.

Now you are on one of the floors in our Tower. You should see at least one avatar -Your own!
Each avatar has a name written under it (unless you disabled this option). If you entered the chat as a guest you will see the word "Guest" under one of the avatars. The easiest way to determine where your avatar is, is to "say" (type) something. Just start typing on your keyboard and what you type will come up as a speech bubble.

After clicking on it you will see another menu where you will be able to choose whether you want the names of the avatars to be displayed in the Chat.
As in any other building, we in TowerChat use a lift to move up and down the floors. We encourage you to explore all the rooms in TowerChat, so don't hesitate to use it.
Our lift is used like any other lift. As you can see, there are ten buttons, which represent the floors of our Tower (Bar, Rave Dance, Casino, et al.). You can visit any of the floors by clicking on the corresponding button.
Those numbers show how many users there are in the room. When you click on any room button, you will see the names of the visitors in this room.
Try it! - the lift will just stop and you will be able to choose between the floors again.
This usually happens if the maximum number of visitors in this room is reached. If this is the case, you won't see the number of visitors next to the room title, instead you will see the word "Full". Don't worry, you can always go to our Pub's, since they do not have any restrictions on the number of visitors.
